Fantasy Cricket Scouting Report - Week 14

09 Aug 2024

I am currently on international assignment but breakaway to bring you all the team news to hinder, sorry help you with your fantasy picks.
The 1XI welcome back Martin Leslie (6m), Bala Sudhakaran (4.8m) and Kalum Sampath (5.8m) for a home match against Barking. Looking for points to maintain the promotion push they will hope there is no tail wagging and that any nicks behind will result in walkies without the need of the umpire. (Sorry, too much sun!)
The 2XI hope to continue their charge up the table away to West Essex. Skipper Daryl Woodford (7.3m) is leading by example and raking in the points not just for the team but himself also. Jack Scutt (5.9m) and Matt Lewis (6m) are back to bolster the batting.
The 3XI travel to Buckhurst Hill and captain Ian Rudder (4.5m) has in form batter Rama Bashamoni (5.1m) at his disposal. Bobby Kenyon (3.5m) back behind the stumps for this one in what looks a winnable game.
The 4XI host Upminster looking to build on last week’s victory. It was a timely return to form for Geoff Lake (6m) scoring his 5,000th league run for the club in his magnificent century, same again this week please. Adam Pickett (5.6m) takes the gloves and will be joined by son Jordan Pickett (2.9m) and Ashley Roope (3.8m) to strengthen the batting of a team that hit 200 last time out.
This is the last week of overs games so tactics will play a key part of your selection, do you go for a bowler who will bowl for a long spell or a batter that will carry is bat. Don’t forget your captain’s pick and if you haven’t played it yet, you may wish to think about your triple captain - use it or lose it.
Good luck to all players - I will be watching on play cricket so go well, enjoy your games and behave.
