Fantasy Cricket League Update - Week 3 / Scouting Report Week 4

31 May 2024

First of all, apologies for no update this week, I had another writing gig somewhere else, if you know you know…
Quick update from last week, big points earners were Bobby Kenyon (3.5m) with 116 and Dan Copp (4.5m) with 107 in the 4XI close win against Upminster. Notable mentions also go to Freddie Hales (6.2m) - 84 points, Mohit Bhagwani (7m) - 74, Adam Knight (6.5m) - 71, and James McCartney (3.5m) - 68.
Now, please read carefully as there are team changes this week and some got caught out last, lol.
The 1XI bring back Thomas Willats (6.6m) and Lee Knight (6.5m) with Michael Edwards (5.5m) resuming glove duty in the 2XI.
The 2XI also see the return of Mike Rake (5.5m). Keep an eye on consistent performer Daryl Woodford (6.5m) who currently sits on 128points.
The 3XI have called up Bobby Kenyon (3.5m) from the 4XI after his fine start to the season. Zak O’Keefe (4.5m) is a notable and welcome returnee to the team.
In the 4XI, Duncan Page (5.5m) picks up the gloves, Geoff Lake (6m) is not available. Also, we see vice skipper Joe McCarthy (3.5m) back in the team alongside opening bat Jack Cable (5.9m).
Some more big decisions ahead, who to leave out. Will there be any after effects for the boys who have partied hard on the tour of Yorkshire, only time will tell, but I do know they are itching to play some cricket.
As always, please see below this week’s MVP as provided by the league.
Good luck to all managers and even more so to all players.
Enjoy your cricket this weekend
