Apologies for no update last week, I was busy watching the rain in Yorkshire.
A mixed match day last weekend with wins for the 1XI and 3XI but defeat for the 2XI and 4XI. Standout performances saw
Marc Lewis (5.5m) score an incredible 230 points after 65 runs and 3 wickets.
Lee Knight (6.5m) also broke the 100 point mark with 132 points in total following an all round effort with a fifty, a catch and a run out.
Ralf Fernando (7.3m)
continued his fine start to life at SLHCC with another 76 points.
Jack Scutt (6m) was the weeks leading points scorer with 795 which saw him jump 16 places up the league table from 20th to 4th. Harry Robinson (4.5m) continues at the summit for a second week.
Something to point out as we are now a few weeks into the season, some player values are changing due to form and selection popularity. So if you are holding off for a week to get someone in, be warned their value could rise and you may no longer be able to afford them. Examples are:
Ralf Fernando - up 0.3 to 7.3m
Mohit Bhagwani - up 0.1m to 7.1m
Rob Page - up 0.2m to 6.2m
Bala Sudhakaran - up 0.2m to 4.7m
Bobby Kenyon - up 0.1m to 3.6m
Adam Knight - up 0.1m to 6.6m
Should a players value increase at any point during the season, then teams who have selected that player shall receive the difference as additional budget when making transfers. Players will be transferred out at the same value that they were bought for regardless of any price changes. Likewise if a players value decreases, teams will lose that amount from their transfer budget (as long as the budget remains above the original limit). Please refer to the Rules on the fantasy league website.
As with all financial transactions the value of your investment can go up or down depending on many factors and you may wish to seek independent advice!
Check back on Friday for team news and a preview of the weekend, fingers crossed for some good weather.
