It was a weekend that tested stamina, patience, and SPF ratings — with all four sides falling short on results, but not on effort. From blazing sunshine to battling innings, each XI brought heart to the heat. Thank you to all teams for scoring on line as all results were updated on Saturday night.

1XI – Gave it a go but couldn’t close it out. The silver lining? A standout debut from Harry Robinson, who showed a maturity well beyond his years. Remember the name — he’ll be back in the first team.

2XI – Fell to Colchester and East Essex. Despite that, there were highlights: Louis Hales and Freddie Robinson both bagged four wickets as the opposition were bowled out for 253. The reply saw wickets tumble steadily, but late resistance from Marc Lewis and Mike Rake pushed us past 170.

3XI – At home to Wanstead & Snaresbrook, they couldn’t prevent a total of 269 despite two wickets each for Sam Stannard and Vinay Kumar. Duncan Page and Dan Copp added some respectability to the reply, but it was a tough ask.

4XI – Were 1 shy of the 200 mark. Shan Selvaraj hit his second consecutive fifty, with Adam Pickett chipping in with 40-odd. Sadly, Leigh chased it down inside 29 overs.
Fantasy League Update
The Fantasy League is heating up as we head into the home stretch. Shan took Player of the Week with 104 points, while Terry Busby claimed Manager of the Week with 575 — smartly triple captaining Shan. Top work, Terry.
League Standings
Kya Ladd recently claimed it was lonely at the top… so she graciously allowed the chasing pack to close the gap. That said, she’s still 156 points clear — and remains the one to beat.
