Match report Another good win for the Stanford le Hope U11 team. An excellent bowling performance from the boys, reducing the wide deliveries again this week. Despite Basildon's strong defences, Kian Hales managed to pick up 2 wickets in consecutive balls and Finlay Bullen showing some excellent outswing as he bowled out one of Basildon's strongest batsman. In reply, Stanford showed their determination to win by sensibly leaving a number of wide deliveries to push the score close to Basildon's. It was down to the last pair of Joseph McCarthy and Michael Edwards to secure the win by refusing to give their wicket away as Stanford won by 6 runs.
