Match report A trip to Basildon CC saw Stanford for the second week in a row start off superbly. Captain Matt Hasler opened the bowling with Joe Brunton taking the other end and within just a few overs Basildon were 22-4 with 3 wickets for Joe and 1 for Matt. However de ja vue occurred and a middle order partnership saw Stanford have to really work hard to eventually bowl Basildon all out for 158. Stanford had 3 dropped catches, 2 LBW shouts not given and a run out not given. Final bowling figures saw Joe finish 34-4 with other wickets being picked up by Marc Easter (43-2)and Colin Easter (2-1).

Stanford then came out to bat and de ja vue again showed frailties with the batting line up as the 5th XI were bowled out for just 51. Only 1 player made double figures this game David Clayton with 10, however Tonicha Wordley deserves a special mention as she blocked out for 5 overs without getting a single run.
